An innate love for nature, art, and expression are so deeply rooted and woven into my story that this life among the flowers feels like it is where I was always headed.
In my early 20s I wandered into a tiny flower shop, so ethereal that it felt like a dream. I was offered a job on the spot. That building has since been torn down, but I can still hear the birds in the window and feel the abundance of love and life that surrounded me there, as if the flowers were welcoming me home. The influence of that first summer can be felt in my work today.
I opened the doors to Botanique in 2017, and have since filled this space with the most amazing team of people I have ever met.
My shop is in my hometown of Yarmouth, and I am passionate about building up the community around me and celebrating the unique experience that is Cape Cod.
I’m endlessly grateful for the hardworking farmers and suppliers who keep our cooler filled with beauty, and to those that trust us to be a part of their story.
Stop into the shop on any given day and you'll find the team swooning over a shipment of fresh blooms, belting out full scale musical productions in the design room, taking breaks to snuggle with our shop dogs, and having the time of our lives.
They did an absolutely phenomenal job bringing our dream and vision to life. Kristina was able to move flowers between the ceremony and reception so stealthily I'm still not sure how she did it. She also managed to re-use centerpieces for our brunch the next day. Everything was perfect, and she was such a joy to work with. Months later, I'm still getting questions and comments about how beautiful our flowers were.
